Bakery Manager

Hershey Farm Restaurant is now hiring a Bakery Manager for the 2015 season. Baking experience is mandatory. Prior management and leadership skills are preferred. Full scheduling flexibility of days, evenings, and weekends is a must. Job duties include: staff scheduling/labor cost control, product development, quality control, outside sales development, and food cost monitoring. All positions must be flexible with evening, weekends and holidays hours . They must also be willing to learn all aspects of the bakery area and shifts. Shifts range from 5am-1pm, 7am-3pm, 10am-6pm, and 12pm-8pm, but are not limited to these hours and overtime is expected in the peak season (for whoopie pie festival from June to September.)

Responsibilities include doing daily inventory counts, filling and checking daily orders, bread production, making pies, rolls, cookies, sticky buns, whoopie pies, cakes, cupcakes, single serve desserts, and bulk items.

Must have strong time management skills, a desire to learn, and the aspiration to go above and beyond.
