The remodel ruined the feel of the resturant! It wasn't bad enough that the remodel of the dining area changed from a "homey, country, FARM" feeling to a western stables feel now the buffet serving area looks like an upscale steakhouse. Whoever designed this remodel has no clue of the feel of a FARM as in Hersher FARM Inn nor country decore. I don't mind the layout as much as I hate the trimmings. The food is served in bright fancy chrome chafing dishes that are mounted in a tan/brown marble top sitting on top of ornate cherry wood looking cabinets. There is faux stonework all around and behind the matradee station there is a flat panel TV with a fish tank image on it and another flat panel TV at the far end of the buffet area that is showing a fire burning. It is "Pretty" but not at all in keeping with the farm or country motif. Will this keep us from returning, probably not. Are we VERY dissapointed, YES! Management of the resturant...you should have left well enough alone.
