Hershey Farm Restaurant & Inn unveils new interactive culinary experience packages.

Strasburg, PA - Hershey Farm Restaurant & Inn, a premier dining and lodging destination located in Lancaster County, PA, is adding interactive culinary experience packages for groups. Culinary experience packages are a form of experiential tours and The Lancaster County Visitors Bureau defines them as, "...Tours [that] immerse visitors in different ways and at different levels of adventure, so they can experience the essence of life in Pennsylvania Dutch Country. The tours target active travelers that want something out of the ordinary, an experience with 'bragging rights' that sets a visit to Lancaster apart from other destinations".

For its culinary experience packages, Hershey Farm combines Lancaster County traditional fare and unique activities for a thoroughly delightful experience. All culinary experience packages are booked in addition to a delicious PA Dutch all you can eat family style meal at Hershey Farm Restaurant and as part of each package every group member receives a fresh bakery item to take home. Currently four culinary experience packages have been created. Including:

• The Signature Baking Demonstration, has one of Hershey Farm's trained chefs guide your group through a hands on demonstration of the creation of two of Lancaster County's signature dessert items, the shoofly pie and the whoopie pie. Taste why Hershey Farm was voted #1 whoopie pie on Lancaster County.
• The Create Your Own Personal Shoofly Pie Package includes a memorable and gooey experience where each group member makes a personal mini shoofly pie. Every member takes home their personal pie (not all pies are created equal).
• Hershey Farm went back to childhood and got creative to develop the Whoopie Pie Checkers Package. Book this package and your group will be playing this classic game against each other with a new twist. Instead of checkers pieces your group plays with whoopie pies, red velvet against chocolate. Eating jumped pieces is encouraged.
• The fourth culinary experience package is the Gingerbread Decorating Package. Each member of your group will receive a freshly baked gingerbread man and surprising materials to decorate him with. The final creations will be judged and the winner will receive a prize.
